Currently the Managing Director of KT 1,5°C Environmental Sustainability Consulting, Breyten is a thought leader and trusted expert in his field of environmental sustainability. His enlightening insights were featured in the 2016 Standard Bank Report to Society and in 2017, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange’s (JSE) Down to Earth magazine featured him on environmental sustainability matters. He was also asked to come and share his invaluable knowledge by presenting at a National Business Initiative (NBI) event The NBI is a coalition of South African and multination businesses working towards sustainable growth and development. He:  Holds a BSc Microbiology; BSc (H) Applied Science: Environmental Technology; PGDip Environmental Law.  Is a registered Professional Scientist with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions. (SACNASP). He has expertise and experience in Carbon Accounting, Corporate Sustainability/ESG, Climate Change and Environmental Risk Management and Environmental law and Compliance.
